"If I didn't have my films as an outlet for all the different sides of me, I would probably be locked up."-Angelina Jolie
Last night, I stayed up past by bedtime, and went to see the film "The Fall." The film stars Lee Pace (Pushing Daisies) and Catinca Untaru (debut film). I usually only go to the movies for films I have been waiting to see, with people who are pumped about that particular movie.
This time was a bit different. I was invited by a friend to tag along with him and his fiancé for a film I had never heard of and he couldn't even really explain to me what it was about. After I got to the theater (The Tivoli in the St. Louis Delmar Loop) and saw the film's poster, I realized that I had seen a trailer for the film and made a mental note to look out for its release.
The film was amazing! Definitely worth checking out. I'm a big fan of stories where children have an impact on the world/people around them and this film was no exception. The main character Alexandria (Untaru) gave probably the most captivating performance by a child I have ever seen. Watch and Discuss...
