Hillsong at the Apollo

Just a quick note of something I did that took me somewhere I never expected to go.

A couple of weeks ago I volunteered to help my church, Hillsong,  set up at a different venue (as our normal one wasn't available on that given Sunday) and so I found myself at the London Apollo Victoria Theatre.

My job was simple  - move things off the truck and into the theatre, others would be responsible for unpacking and setting up. Once I was finished it dawned on me that I was in the theatre where Wicked plays - I could walk around and see the set pieces up close and check out the backstage area, and so I did. It was interesting to watch the stalls from the stage - not something everyone would think was cool but for me it was a nice little treat.
