For the last couple of months or so two of my friends and I have been in the process of getting a feature financed through the UK Film Council.
We put together an amazing proposal and story pitch and I honestly thought we had a good chance to at least get through the door.
I was wrong.
They announced their initial selections today and we were not one of them. I am obviously upset but more than anything I don’t know what to look forward to anymore. This was the one thing that I thought was going to get me out of this slump and offer some structure to my life. Now tomorrow is just as boring as today.
